Cygnus Sails have been repairing and supplying commercial and domestic umbrellas for over 15 years.
We cover most of the of the UK from the Midlands to the South Coast,Located in the South West we also cover the South West including Cornwall & Devon.
Our replacement commercial & domestic umbrella canopies are of the highest quality. We use Acrylic Canvas for most of our canopies, this material is colour fast and has very high resistance to UV damage.
We supply spares for many commercial and domestic Parasols & Umbrellas.
We use Dixon, Sauleda, Recasen, Geofex & Sunbrella Acrylic Canvas.
We repair most garden and patio umbrellas. We make replacement canopies and repair Teak, Bamboo,Aluminium and Stainless steel Umbrellas.
Wherever possible we like to collect Domestic Umbrellas so we can get a perfect fit on our replacement canopies.

Bournemouth Umbrella Repair;
This through the table aluminium umbrella was looking a bit tired , we replaced the canopy with a new custom made canopy in Acrylic Canvas in a colour requested by the customer, a new rope was fitted and a winter storage cover was supplied.
The repaired Patio Umbrella was then returned to Bournemouth.
The previous canopy was made from Solution Dyed Polyester and is generally a cheaper option for Umbrella canopies. Acrylic Canvas is widely used in the marine trade for boat hoods and covers and is considerably more resistant to UV,it is generally regarded as a superior fabric. It is widely used on large commercial canopies.
All replacement ropes are marine grade polyester.
The photograph shows the final inspection before being returned to the customer.
Ethan Umbrella Canopy Replacement Benfleet Essex.
This stunning teak umbrella was imported from New Zealand.
The Umbrella was collected bu us.
The Old canopy was in pieces and 2 of the teak arms were damaged.The arms were repaired and a replacement canopy made in Acrylic Canvas ( the best material available).
The umbrella is raised and lowered by a winch rope. The winch was serviced and a new Dyneema Rope replaced the old polyester rope, Dyneema is widely used to replace wire in the Marine Trade and is stronger and more flexible and less prone to wear than wire.
After a complete check over in our Cornwall workshop the umbrella was returned and reinstalled.

He Unopiu Italian Umbrella when we collected it had no canopy, we manufactured a new canopy and returned the completed umbrella with a winter storage cover.

Teak Garden Umbrella Repair & Replacement Canopy in Marlborough.
This beautiful teak garden umbrella was purchased by the owner in 1976. (This is the oldest umbrella we have refurbished to date).The Canopy had rotted & the frame was damaged, the umbrella was collected. We made a replacement canopy in Vanilla Acrylic Canvas & supplied a winter storage cover & supplied a new lifting rope & securing pin. The Umbrella was then returned.
